The Axis Communications
209031 is a surveillance kit containing 10 AXIS 241Q 4-channel Blade Video
Servers. Each server accepts a up to four analog fixed or dome cameras and
turns them into virtual network cameras complete with remote Internet
viewing and recording, PTZ control and alarm I/O ports. These board-shaped
Blades are designed to slide into a 19" AXIS Rack Solution, which accepts up
to twelve Blades and allows easy swapping between different Blade models.
The Rack uses a single Ethernet port to connect to the network and supplies
both power and serial camera control for each Blade Server. With four
cameras to a Blade, this 10-pack kit provides network connection for up to
forty analog cameras. This makes this kit an essential package for large
established security facilities looking to take full advantage of the latest
in network technology without having to replace their existing high
resolution and expensive analog equipment. |
