In conjunction with the remote wall stations, the unit allows control of lighting without the main lighting console. The SR-528 is a theatrical houselight/worklight zone controller. The unit enables simple wall mounted remotes to control an architectural or theatrical dimming system via a standard control console. The unit will communicate with remotes of several types and accomodates multiple mixed type remotes. The SR-528 enables a simple wall mounted station to control an architectural or theatrical dimming system via inline DMX-512 pile-on of scenes. The unit records 16 scenes of 512 channels while enabling any of the scenes to be recalled at the simple touch of the appropriate scene button or via a remote wall station button. The SR-528 is an inline pile-on processor which receives 512 DMX channels, adds the local scene, and transmits the signal out as DMX-512. Real time operation assures quick response time. Controls are provided to lock out the recording of scenes, adjust fade rates, select remote port modes, and set multiple local scenes. The SR-528 operates in the pile-on or the exclusive mode. The pile-on mode enables any number of scenes to be combined. The exclusive mode allows only one active scene at a time. The unit has two remote control inputs: A Smart Port for use with intelligent remote stations and a Simple Port for use with two button stations. Remote stations provide convenient scene control from any location in a room. Scene recording and fade time presets may be done only at the master panel to prevent accidental erasures. Smart remotes have a variety of functions and Simple remote stations have 1 or 2 buttons. | | Features & Benefits | - Control Protocol I/O: DMX-512
