WHO IS PEXAGON???? 

• Pexagon Technology, Inc., formerly Microtech International, Inc. has been providing storage solutions to the technology market since 1985.

• Microtech International, Inc. provided hard drive and memory upgrades under the Microtech brand name until acquired by SCM Microsystems in 2000.   

• Pexagon was created in October of 2002 after a spin-off from SCM Microsystems, we were unable to retain the Microtech brand name. 

• Pexagon did, however, retain the same management team and infrastructure that was formerly with Microtech International, Inc., and many of that team is still here at Pexagon today. 

• Pexagon has a long standing relationship with Hitachi’s Global Storage Division since 1999, and is their strategic partner for Hitachi branded retail products throughout North America

• Exclusive distributor in North America for the Hitachi Microdrive retail product.   

• As an OEM partner of Hitachi, Pexagon manufacture’s our own brand of external USB 2.0 portable hard drives and backup solutions under the brand name Store-It™ utilizing Hitachi hard drives.
