The VI200WM, is a high resolution wall-mountable
1-in 2-out VGA (VGA thru UXGA) distribution amplifier designed to
simultaneously feed a local monitor and a distant monitor or projector.
The VI200WM is ideal for use with LCD/DLP projectors and other displays
that utilize a 15-pin HD (VGA-type) input connector. The local monitor
output is aligned for optimal performance up to approximately 12 feet,
while the main output is aligned for optimal performance at 75 feet,
with the capability of driving as far as 250 feet depending on the
signal resolution and cable quality. The VI200WM offers a minimum video
bandwidth of 400 MHz and can handle virtually any horizontal scan rate.
The LED indicator on the face of the unit performs a dual function: it
turns red when the unit is receiving power and it turns green when the
input senses an active signal. This makes it easy to troubleshoot the
unit, especially in applications using laptop computers (where it is not
always clear if you are receiving an active signal from the source.)
This design provides a greater level of flexibility and also increases
longevity since the entire unit would not have to be replaced if the
cable or cable pins were somehow damaged. |
