The TP500AV has flexible display options fully compatible with LCD, Plasma and projection type displays, not just for CRTs! The TP500AV provides a means of transmitting computer video and audio signals over twisted pair CAT-5 (Category 5 type cable when used together with an RGBMATE CAT-5 Computer Video Receiver, such as model number TP505AV. This is an alternative to the traditional method of using RGB or VGA type multi-channel coaxial cable, a solution that can be desirable due to the fact that CAT-5 cable is thinner, more flexible and less costly than multi-channel coaxial cable. Also, many facilities already have a CAT-5 cable infrastructure, allowing this solution to reduce the amount of labor and intrusion required for retrofit installations. The TP500AV is compact and easy to use. It offers a female 15-pin HD output (Plug & Play), a female RJ-45 main output. The TP505AV can transmit signal resolutions between VGA and UXGA. Used together with an RGBMATE CAT-5 Computer Video Receiver, TP505AV and properly adjusted with the built-in HF compensation control.
