Ever need to be in two places at once? The GX5010 wireless sound and vision camera system makes this possible by transmitting high-quality black & white video and sound to the monitor from up to 300 feet away wirelessly (clear line of sight)! The sensitive high quality microphone picks up even the quietest sounds so you can hear even when you cannot see. The key to this system is the use of 2.4 GHz technology. This frequency has a broad signal range so more video information transmits at once. This signal range also results in sharper and more vivid pictures, reduced signal interference, multiple channels and a longer transmission range. The 2.4 GHz technology creates a circular omni-directional polarization signal to provide clear, powerful re-transmission of video signals throughout your home that is unobstructed by walls, ceilings, furniture or floors. The GX5010 camera has built-in wall mounting hardware and a fully adjustable pan and tilt stand for free standing wall, ceiling, desk or shelf use. The swiveling heavy-duty bracket and adjustable camera-viewing angle makes it possible to monitor any area. In addition, the adjustable directional high-gain antenna provides high quality performance. Unlike other cameras, the GX5010 can pick up images in near total darkness, by turning on the eight infrared LED lights, so you can watch your baby, patient or pet without disturbing them. The infrared lights also allow you to watch your business day and night. The infrared LED lights give off a beam of light invisible to the naked eye. This portability allows you to plug the camera into any AC outlet. If no AC outlet is available, the camera can run on eight AA batteries (not included). The 5.5-inch black & white monitor is also battery operable on 10 C batteries (not included). This system includes one infrared camera and supports up to four cameras (a maximum of three cameras is recommended for best performance). The included monitor can be set to "auto-switching" mode to automatically scan through all cameras at four or eight second intervals.
