the speedy, mobile-centric laptops the two companies have previously
collaborated on. Sleekly styled, the Ferrari 1004 redefines the shape of
mobile perfection with seamless wireless and wired communication and an
integrated 1.3-megapixel Acer OrbiCam positioned on top of the LCD panel
with a 225-degree rotation. And it's stylishly appointed with a sleek, black
casing accented by signature Ferrari red edges and the classic yellow
prancing horse Ferrari logo. Optimized for mobile performance, this
notebook is powered by the 1.8 GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-56 dual-core
processor, which offers 64-bit computing capability and higher throughput
for simultaneous computing tasks. And it incorporates the latest in Wi-Fi
technology--802.11n--which can communicate over today's standards while also
ready for tomorrow's wireless networks. It's also ready to keep you
connected to your most important contacts wherever you might find yourself,
thanks to the included Bluetooth VOIP phone. Other hardware features include
a bright, high-definition 12.1-inch LCD, large 160 GB hard drive, 2 GB of
installed RAM (4 GB maximum), Bluetooth 2.0 wireless connectivity, external
variable-speed DVD-Super Multi dual-layer drive, and two batteries.
This laptop also comes preinstalled with Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate,
which combines all the features of Windows Vista Premium and Vista Business
as well as adds extras such as multi-language packs and Secure Online Key
Backup. It offers all of the features found in Windows Vista Home Premium,
including Windows Media Center, Windows Movie Maker with high-definition
support, and Windows DVD Maker. It also provides all of the features found
in Windows Vista Business, including business networking, centralized
management tools, and advanced system backup features. Vista also integrates
new search tools throughout the operating system, includes new parental
control features, and offers new tools that can warn you of impending
