The ARM Electronics Pro-Grade Day/Night Vandal Dome Camera uses Wide Dynamic Range technology to overcome high contrast, harsh backlighting and similar extreme lighting environments. By separately processing the bright and dark regions of an image WDR is able to bring out all the important details of an image. In low light, the camera switches from color to B/W mode while removing an IR cut filter. This will allow light in the infrared spectrum to reach the CCD, resulting in enhanced image brightness during nighttime hours. This camera can be readily installed on the surface or recessed inside a ceiling. An optional mount is available for mounting the camera to a wall with the bubble facing down (VPPROWMT).
