Overview
Each coffee pod is vacuum sealed in Italy at time of roasting and has a minimum shelf life of 18 months. Coffee Pods are both economical and easy to use. Each is portion controlled and produces the rich "crema" expected in all European Coffee houses. Both are 45mm in diameter and hold the standard one cup serving of 7 grams and are sold by the box. La Pavoni was one of the first producers of commercial coffee equipment in the World. Their first home model, the Europiccola, was developed in 1968 and introduced at the San Francisco Houseware Show in 1971 where it won best new product. In 1975 a larger model called Professional was introduced. These were the first lever home models producing single shots marketed in Europe and the U. S.
