Description

The Champion 42CVI not only provides the same excellent video quality as the Panasonic TH-42PWD6UY, it includes additional enhancements to the video inputs and audio output that should not be overlooked. The Champion 42CVI is geared for the home with its RCA connectors for composite and component inputs. You'll also enjoy 2 composite and 2 S-video connections for added connectivity (the Panasonic model only has one of each).

While we recommend an external receiver and surround speaker system, the Champion 42CVI does provide a 10W per channel built-in audio amplifier (speakers sold seperately) that is superior to the 8W per channel audio amplifier on the Panasonic TH-42PWD6UY. For additional inputs, Champion does offer several input boards for the 42CVI. While these are similiar to the input boards for the Panasonic equivalent, the Champion boards have additional video inputs.
