It is built to meet or exceed IP54 and military standards 810 C/D/E/F/G (11 items) specifications and is designed to be business tough This Radio features a 3.5mm audio output jack and allows for hands free operation with optional headphones. Connect the Protalk radio to a standard micro USB port or use the included charging cup to charge the battery. When fully charged, the radio can operate up to 15 hours of operation. Also included are the KNB-71L Li-lon battery, belt clip and a 3-hour fast charger Operating Conditions Open areas without obstructions is up to 5 miles Residential areas near buildings is up to 1.5 miles In steel and/or concrete reinforced buildings the range is up to 225,000 sq.ft (20,900 sq.m) The range in high-rise buildings is up to 17 floors VOX Ready This operation allow you to transmit hands-free and can only be used if you are using a supported headset Built to Military Standards 810 C/D/E/F/G Designed and tested to meet the U.S. military standards approval for Shock, Vibration, Rain and Dust, ensuring its ability to perform in rigorous work environments Bell Tone Alert You are alerted to an incoming call by the flashing LED light and a bell tone Battery Saver This feature will allow you to select a lower power level when range is not an issue and you can communicate easily with your group in the vicinity.
