With 2500 lumens and a 3000:1 contrast ratio the Epson 705HD possesses the image power to project vivid, saturated pictures in a variety of lighting situations. It even has four image modes to match its capabilities to the ambient lighting condition. Its HDMI 1.3a and USB inputs allow you to show everything from Blu-ray discs to JPEG picture slide shows in table top, ceiling mount or rear projection modes onto a screen as wide(diagonally) as 320 inches (more than 26 feet across). For an entry level projector the 705HD certainly seems ambitious. It's perfectly suited to a permanent installation. But it's ready to travel the world with its 100 to 240 V AC power supply and its ability to accept and project images in NTSC (the North American system), NTSC 4.43, PAL, PAL-N, PAL-M, PAL-60 and SECAM. Moreover, it's compatible with 45 PC and Mac video resolution and frequency standards.
