Whatever format you prefer the DZ-BD70A records and saves all your memories in full 1920 x 1080 HD. Blu-ray discs are capable of storing up to 6x the data of standard definition DVDs. Hitachi's Blu-ray/DVD drive works with the following 5 disc types: BD-RE/-R, DVD-RAM/-RW/-R. This camcorder also features a Photo capture mode that enables you to share or print 2.07Mp stills from your video footage. Another feature, the 1-Second Quick Start Mode, makes immediate recording possible while simultaneously saving battery life. The in-camcorder finalize button prepares DVDs for playback in DVD players with one touch. If you've been waiting for Blu-ray but still want the option of DVD the DZ-BD70A is for you.
