Designed for large rooms up to 19 by 21 feet, this air purifier changes the air up to six times per hour and provides a CADR of 260 for smoke, 260 for dust, and 260 for pollen. Its effective three-speed whisper-quiet fan draws air into the unit without excessive noise, and exhausts clean, purified air back into the room from the top of the unit to avoid stirring up settled particles. The purifier also comes equipped with a permanently charged HEPAtech filter that effectively captures 99.97-percent of all airborne particles as small as 0.1 microns in size that pass through the filter. An ionizer with a separate on/off switch distributes negative ions throughout the room to enhance the cleaning process. For 30-percent better odor reduction, the unit's separate carbon prefilter reduces cooking, tobacco, and pet odors while also capturing larger dust particles, lint, and pet hair from dirty air. Other details include easy-to-use programmable digital LCD controls, and digital LCD filter-change indicators. Even more, the unit's space-saving slim-line styling fits flush against the wall, so it won't encroach on living areas or interfere with household activities. Replacement filters (the 30901 prefilter and 30931 filter) are sold separately.
