Overview
Intimus 45CC3 cross cut shredder is an office shredder suitable to use between 1-5 people. It has a security level 3 rating and shreds paper, paper clips, staples, credit cards, optical media, and floppy disks. Intimus 45CC3 shredder comes with the i-Control, 2X2, Silentec, DLS, and Ecologic features. The intelligent i-Control feature notifies when the bin is full, if the bin door is open, paper jam, oil level, and motor overheat warning. The 2X2 feature makes use of 2 separate cutting blades to shred plastic and paper and the shreds are collected in 2 separate bins. With the Silentec feature, a spring mounted shredder block is used to absorb the sound waves so that you can work without being disturbed. The 45CC3 cross cut shredder’s DLS feature detects how many papers are being fed in the feed opening and warns in case of excessive paper feeding. The Ecologic feature conserves energy as it places the shredder in sleep mode after few minutes from last use. In the case of paper jam, it automatically reverses the jammed paper. It also automatically starts and stops shredding to avoid being unnecessarily run and features locking casters to remain in one place or for mobility. The Intimus shredder’s cutting blades have a limited lifetime warranty
