Kingston introduces its SSDNow V+ 100E drive with full-disk 128-bit AES hardware-based encryption to protect all data stored on the drive. Kingston SSDNow drives increase performance with impressive speeds, resulting in faster boot times and application loads to make users more productive. SSDNow V+100E is the ideal solid-state drive upgrade for any security-conscious environment in which efficiency and performance are important. It consumes less power and generates less heat than a traditional hard disk drive - all at a fraction of the cost of a system. With no moving parts, it can handle demanding conditions and resists shock and vibration. In addition to its AES hardware-based encryption, SSDNow V+ 100E supports ATA normal secure erase, to completely destroy selected data and ensure that data blocks are wiped clean. SSDNow V+ 100E features client-based security and there's no performance degradation from its hardware encryption, when compared to software encryption
