Water supplies typically contain chlorine, minerals, and organics that can cause scale build up, off tastes, odors or colors. Chlorine residuals can adversely affect the taste of beverages. Scale build-up can be difficult to remove and often requires disassembly of the unit. Manitowoc’s Arctic Pure™ filtration system treats these impurities at the water source. Arctic Pure™ systems incorporate state of the art multi-composite carbon block water filtration technology. As the water flows through the carbon matrix, the carbon absorbs chlorine and other contaminants.
