There are a number of devices that do not have discrete power commands (seperate power on and off commands) and instead use a toggle command (the first button press turns it on, the second turns it off). As a result, ensuring equipment synchronization in macros for those devices as you switch macros becomes difficult. Many devices have a trigger output that is set to high when the device is powered on. The Nevo Voltage Sensor detects this signal and provides a trigger voltage used by the NevoConnect NC-50 to determine the power state of the device. Depending upon that state, the power command can either be sent or not, ensuring your macros and equipment remain synchronized for convenient and consistent operations. The Nevo Voltage Sensor provides a two-pin connector to use for attaching a wire between the sensor and the device's trigger output. The Nevo Voltage Sensor has an IR output port so you can sense the power state of a device and send IR control signal to it through the sensor. Thus allowing you to use a single port on the NevoConnect NC-50 to sensor and control a device, rather than sacrifice a port for each activity.
