The HD72 home theater projector by Optoma Technology is
the company's newest high performance, cost-friendly digital projector for
home theater enthusiasts. Featuring Texas Instruments' technology the HD72
provides stunningly high brightness and deeper black levels. The HD72 is
super bright with 1000 lumens and offers an exceptionally high contrast
ratio of 4000:1 for a greater range of color, light intensity and to deliver
subtle color details. The Optoma HD72 home theater projector is also one of
the most feature-rich projectors available in its class. The HD72 home
theater projector uses BrilliantColor technology for increased brightness in
mid-tone images, common in-video and natural scenes. This creates truer,
more vibrant colors and deeper levels of black. Offering remarkable display
capabilities the HD72 is a 16:9 enhanced HDTV projector that features HDMI
input and Faroudja de-interlacer, DCDi chipset for extraordinary leading-edge
performance. Optoma projectors have O2Air technology, which has been shown
to reduce pollutants in the air (e.g., cigarette smoke) by up to 90%. The
unique Shield Design of the projector casing prevents unwanted light
emission. Through strategic use of baffles within the cooling tunnel, air
speeds are reduced resulting in quiet operation. Offering the best in home
