Cook up to 40 6-ounce cups of uncooked rice in about 40 minutes with this commercial rice cooker. Ideal for restaurants, catering, and more, it can provide 140 servings of 3-ounce portions. Simply add measured amounts of rice and water, cover, and push down the lever--it's that easy. The unit shuts itself off automatically once the rice has fully cooked, and its thermostat keeps cooked rice warm for up to two hours, virtually eliminating burning or overcooking. In addition, specially sheathed heating elements heat the pan bottom directly, which minimizes heat loss and in turn saves energy costs. For peace of mind, a built-in thermal safety fuse will protect the unit from possible overheating. The rice cooker's stainless-steel lid helps keep in heat and moisture, while its anodized-aluminum-alloy dent-resistant pan liner lifts easily out of the cooker to make washing and rinsing a breeze.
