The Net01EC is a cost-effective integrated solution for two-way display control and content management with an IP network environment.

The NetEC Package is designed to provide software-based control and monitoring of a network of NetEC card-equipped SmartCard Displays using an existing Ethernet network infrastructure. SmartCard Ethernet Control Software provides remote access for monitoring and control of displays using Ethernet point-to-point and broadcast protocols.
Features & Benefits
Enhanced ease of use:
Control of Display-functions such as channel or input switching and timed control switch-off, volume control and volume limiting through a UTP network. Integration within the TV-set for a wide range of Philips CRT-TVs, Plasma and LCD Monitors. Event scheduling for displays throughout network. Remote on-screen messaging and remote software/firmware upgrade capability.

  • Software Control OS Support

Allows control of display network with Windows®98/2000/XP/NT, Linux, Sun Solaris, SGI Irix, and others (third party application development support available).

  • Systems Display Control

Control the power, adjust the settings, and even lock out local control for individual , select groups, or all displays in the network.

  • Display Monitoring

Monitor the status of individual displays in the network via remote network access. Remote monitoring of power status, active channel, volume, and error status is available.

  • Event Scheduling

Schedule a display, group of displays, or the entire network of displays for different events including power on, channel selection, and volume control.

  • Network Security

NetEC software allows displays to be configured in a secure network to protect the integrity of the network and the displays, and to allow normal IS configuration procedures
