The System 18 News tripod system, which includes the Video 18 fluid head and Hot Pod CF 14, is the perfect choice for the professional that needs to set up his tripod system in a couple of seconds. Slow pan? Fast pan? No problem! The Video 18 Plus with its seven levels of drag in either horizontal or vertical position, delivers smooth operation, for perfect pictures without jerks and vibrations. Built with torsion springs and a five step counterbalancing system, it prevents the camera from inadvertently tip and ensures that it is positioned securely at any tilt angle. The Hot Pod CF 14 features a central locking system, which releases all three legs simultaneously at the touch of a button and a pneumatic center column that easily lifts loads of up to 44 lb to lens heights of over 6.6 ft. The elevation force of the pneumatic center column is factory set and maintenance free, A change of location? You can easily carry the Hot Pod using its handle (strategically positioned at the tripod's center of gravity), or simply sling it over your shoulder using the supplied carrying strap.
