Overview

The Safco Pivot Seat by Focal Upright offers the comfort of sitting with all the benefits of standing. Ideal for homes, offices, and retail environments, this pivot seat has tri-flex seat cushion with built-in sitz bone contours for plush support. It works with any standing desk or table and can hold up to 300 pounds. It has an easy-adjust piston-release handle which adjusts the height of the seat up to 35 inches and perfectly accommodates height between four to six feet tall. It also has a waterfall edge that helps reduce pressure on the upper legs and potentially promote better blood circulation. The Safco seat supports leaning posture that helps encourage a hip-to-torso range of 130 to 135 degrees allowing the least amount of pressure on your spine and connecting muscles. A rubber and over-molded grips at the bottom of the base enables users to enjoy a full range of motion while maintaining control. Its weighted base leverages the center of your body gravity to support various degrees of use. This pivot seat has a fiberglass-reinforced nylon seat pan, ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) foam seat cushion, and a steel gas piston cylinder. It is designed by the founder of Focal Upright himself – Martin Keen.
