For the Amateur Radio Operator or shortwave listener who's on the go, the ATS-909X BK is the ideal choice! Featuring wide-band coverage from long wave, medium wave, and shortwave to AM/FM broadcast, these portable radios cover all of the radio entertainment and information ground you need

With three programmable wake timers available, the clock display even when the radio is tuning. The time zone feature has 42 world-city times stored! The new, enlarged LCD display also features a new, bright white LED (providing a higher brightness display), a signal strength meter, and a battery life indicator. These radios also feature selectable AM Wide/Narrow filters, FM Mono/Stereo, SSB (Single Side Band) USB/LSB, 40 Hz tuning steps, and an AM RF gain control

The ATS-909X BKs possess an amazing ease of operation! These ATS-909X BKs provide up to 406 memory-channels! You may store all of your favorite stations, whether they're on local AM, FM, or shortwave broadcast frequencies. Take the ATS-909X BK anywhere you go... and stay on top of the action! The Digital Signal Processing (DSP) comes as standard with the unit and includes a number of features which can significantly enhance reception through improved rejection of interference

ATS-909X BKs will also display FM RDS/RBDS for station name and clock time in areas where this service is available. For everyday portable operation, use four "AA" batteries (not included). For operation from your home, choose the supplied AC-AC power adapter.
