How could they be much better? Sangean thought that adding Bluetooth audio-streaming would do the trick. Just pair one of these radios with your Bluetooth-capable device, like your iPod or iPhone, and enjoy your stored music anywhere. Keep your iPod safely below deck on your boat and still enjoy your favorite tunes up on deck These extremely portable radios have ample audio that sounds great, excellent reception quality, and will run on two "D" cell batteries that will last a long time. The push-button controls and waterproof speaker are impervious to any wet environment. Built with a sturdy white cabinet, these radios have five digital presets for each band (5 AM/5 FM). Because they are fully digital, you can easily lock in your favorite stations without relying on inaccurate dial tuning. Other great features include a sleep timer, nap timer, a built-in flashlight, battery level indicator, large LCD clock, emergency buzzer, and more These radios are submersible and meet JIS7 waterproofing standards that are equal to marine radios.
