  Sony's unique WEGA Engine™ system solution optimizes the potential of Grand WEGA Technology to achieve high picture quality. Various signals such as RF standard definition broadcasts, composite video, component video, high definition video (interlaced or progressive) and even Memory Stick® media images benefit from this process. The WEGA Engine system converts all signals into the digital domain and applies an entire system of processes. The result? Better resolution and sharpness, higher contrast, less digital noise, and greater picture dimension.
• Advanced Video Menu Functions
  XS Series Grand WEGA televisions offer access to advanced menu functions that typically are found only in service menus. You can now access and adjust the following functions according to your taste: Gamma Correction: Adjusts the balance between bright and dark areas of the picture. Black Correction: Enhances black colors to give the picture strong contrast. White Balance: Fine-adjusts the white color intensity by changing the red, green, and blue levels. Detail Enhancement: Sharpens picture defintion. Clear White: Emphasizes white colors

  Three wide XGA LCD panels, one for each RGB (Red, Green, Blue) signal that resolve 1,092,168 million pixels. This provides a total picture resolution of 3.28 million pixels for crisp, precise picture detail.
• Enhanced Memory Stick® Media Playback
• Live Color and Live Color Demo Mode
  Sony's innovative circuit that emphasizes blues and greens without affecting reds for a more natural, vivid picture. Three levels of enhancement are available (High, Medium, Low) as well as Off. And the Live Color Demo Mode produces a split-screen that shows a side-by-side comparison of the picture with Live Color and without it. The Live Color Demo Mode can be accessed through the Application Menu. Pressing the RESET button exits the demo mode.
