Sylvania's 13-inch, flat-screen 6513DG TV/DVD player combination unit is a compact combo unit ideal for the bedroom, kitchen, den, or kids' room. The 6513DG features stereo speakers, front-panel audio/video inputs for your camcorder, VCR, or gaming device, and a headphone jack accessible from the front panel for private or late-night viewing. The 6513DG's Pure Flat picture tube produces a great picture and minimizes undesirable reflections and image distortions typical of common, curved CRT televisions. A convenient front-panel menu button simplifies setup even if you misplace the remote control, and the unit's 181-channel drift-free PLL tuner offers auto station setting to get you up and running as quickly as possible. The DVD / CD player supports CD-R and CD-RW discs, so you can listen to all your favorites, including your MP3s. You can also scan through movies at 100x normal speed, store up to 10 bookmarks per disc for easy access at a later point, and view DVDs in slow motion, in both forward and reverse. Both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1-channel surround-sound signals from DVDs can be routed through the player's coaxial digital-audio output for direct connection to a full-featured audio/video receiver. Other features include auto power off, V-Chip parental controls, closed-caption decoding, and a trilingual OSD (onscreen display) in English, Spanish, or French.
