Audio System Features
Virtual Dolby Digital; The Dolby Virtual Sound feature allows you to enjoy
virtual surround sound from the TV's speakers. If you connect a source that
is encoded with Dolby Surround or Dolby Digital, the Dolby Virtual feature
simulates Dolby Surround Sound from the TV's speakers. Dolby Virtual can be
turned on/off in the menu as desired.
SRS WOW Sound Enhancements
WOW is a special combination of SRS Labs audio technologies that creates a
surround sound experience with deep, rich bass from stereo sound sources,
making the TV audio sound fuller, richer, and wider.
Terminals and Connections
ColorStream Component Video Inputs are the best analog connections for
today's video sources, such as DVD players and Digital Set-Top Boxes. Three
cables, Y (Luminance), Pr (Red - Y) and Pb (Blue - Y), deliver a cleaner,
clearer signal , resulting in higher resolution and greater color purity for
the ultimate in picture quality.
High Definition MultiMedia Interface (HDMI) is the next generation of DVI.
It includes the DVI digital video signal, and multi-channel digital audio
signals on a single cable thus eliminating the need of a multiple cable
hookup. |
